A Simple Master Bedroom

I wanted a tranquil master bedroom that also kept with the feel of the rest of the house. We kept all our furniture for now.The walls were redone in a level 0 texture and trim was added. We also removed all the canned lighting on the ceiling to help give it that more romantic feeling. The window boxes were also reshaped to a rectangle. There was a closet on the wall we had closed off which will matter later in the master bathroom in order to take out a slanted corner.

I chose the Fiore 8 Light Linear Chandelier in gold from Arhaus for this room. It was unique and a statement for this room. When she arrived she did not disappoint. She is gorgeous and pictures do not do her justice. Our bed is from the Saint James Collection in the color antiqued oak from Restoration Hardware and we have had it several years. I still like how neutral it is and it's easy to change up our master bedroom over the years without worrying if it still goes with the new look. The sheets are Boll and Branch and I highly recommend! The duvet is Pottery Barn and they didn't make matching shams so my mom sewed those for me. Our nightstands are a TJ Maxx find back in the day and I want to change those out with some with larger top drawers for better storage.

The rug was originally in our dining room and after we remodeled I decided I did not want a rug in there. This Surya Avant Garde rug in the color grey worked great with the color I chose in here so it found it's new home in our room. For reference the size of this rug is 10x14. The roman shades are from Select Blinds and they are the same company we got all the other shades downstairs from. I ordered the Classic Roman Shades in the color blue spruce. They are battery operated with a remote and I went with the tension rod style so the install didn't damage the window boxes and it was really simple.
My favorite scent these days is the Joe Malone Peony and Blush Suede. I was decorating one of my very favorite clients bedroom for Christmas and she had the scent and I immediately fell in love. Another must have item for our family is this charging dock. While it isn't the most attractive it is so handy. The kids have phones that only connect to wifi but they charge them in here at night and it helps me keep track of their usage.
